So Saturday morning, I woke up with a frog in my throat and a cough. I thought, "Oh no, I'm not going to be able to sing!" I said a little prayer in my heart and headed to the chiropractor. He gave me an adjustment and told me that I should be able to sing that night! Miraculously, I began to feel better, but I started to get a little headache. That headache escalated to a migraine by that night (the night we were to sing first.) I was in such pain I didn't think I would be able to go. I kept procrastinating getting ready since my head hurt so bad, but then I started to think about how disappointed I'd be if I wasn't able to sing the song I shared with you in the last post and I took a leap of faith and started getting ready. I was late for the rehearsal, but I did make it and I felt better than I had in days! I'm so glad that I was able to be apart of that!
Unfortunately Sunday was a different story. I woke up with laryngitis, which I still have today:( So, obviously, I couldn't sing without a voice, so I stayed home and slept in. I'm pretty disappointed that I couldn't be apart of the Sunday performance, but I'm just grateful that I could sing in the Saturday one. Since I did sing, I do get to sign it off in the University of Life! Yay!
My poor husband has caught what I have AND has to go to work on top of it:( I guess that's what he gets for being such a wonderful husband and taking care of his sick wife:/ Now it's my turn to take care of him, I do feel better, I just can't talk without sounding like a 13 year old boy going through puberty haha
